I got a call from Bristol to during my Easter holiday to say that I needed to provide them with an education psychologist report on myself by the 27th April, this is to prove that I can learn the names of drugs correctly etc. (no other uni needed one). My term started on the 20th so the earliest I could speak to the support unit at college was 7 days before the dead line, Bristol don’t work weekends so the form needed to be in on the Friday, thus sent on the Thursday. That gave me 4 days, it was impossible to obtain such a report in that time so I phoned them discussed my situation and was told that I best withdraw my application as without the report I wasn’t getting an offer (this was all three month after my interview btw). Anyway my Mum, who teaches special-needs students thought this seemed a little wrong and emailed a complaint. They e-mailed back and frankly lied outright saying if I had told them about my predicament (which I did) then they would have extended the deadline (which they didn’t offer to do at the time).
I don’t mind if they have made a mistake leaving my application to late or whatever, these things happen and that’s life. But why lie? I would like to find an answer and was wondering if anybody knows the best way to proceed from here.

Will their course help me to pass my exam? anyone has any idea or other recommendation? It would be greatly appreciated if anyone of you can let me know. Hi, i am currently doing non-science subjects and predicted AAB but i read the number of places in pre-dental courses and its very few. I have got 7 C's n 3 B's in my gcse and i wanted to apply for pre-dental. I need some advice on whether i should do my maths n english gcse again so i can apply for pre-dental or whether i should do biology n chemistry? Through which one would i have a better chance of getting into dentistry. My gcse's were very bad because of some family problems.

Thanks

I already posted this on the other forum for undergrad entry and i was given some advice. Im re-posting it here because id like to know for sure whether or not applying for post-grad courses is going to make any diff to my situation. i got a c in gcse english and for some stupid reason i didnt re-take it. Im going to be applying for 2009 entry. Im currently at leicester uni doing an undergrad in physiology and pharmacology (biological science). i no my choice of degree stops me from applying to all post-grad courses because its not a 'bio-medical' science (there's actually very little difference between my course and the bio-med courses being offered... kinda sucks) . What i needed to know is must i resit gcse english? chances are ill probably apply to two post-grad and two undergrad courses and take it from there.
if i have to resit then is it english lang or lit that i need to resit (i can remember doing both back in the day)
